This gluten-free pasta with fresh fava recipe is light and sweet. The sugar, to me, doesn’t sound right but believe me it works perfectly with the fava beans and tomatoes. Pair this pasta with a side salad.
Ingredients
- 16 oz Fava beans
- 1/4 onion
- 2 Tbsp. Bertolli extra virgin olive oil
- 1 can San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes
- Morton iodized sale/McCormick Ground Black pepper
- 1 box Jovila gluten-free pasta
- 2 Tbsp. C&H pure cane granulated white Sugar
Directions
Place a large pot of water on the oven and bring to a boil for the gluten-free Jovial pasta. Skin the fava beans. Saute onion and fava beans in olive oil for about five minutes. Add the gluten-free pasta to the boiling water. Next, add the peeled tomato, sugar, and salt and pepper to the onion and fava bean pan.
Place gluten-free pasta on a plate and spoon fava bean mixture over pasta. Enjoy!
