Surprisingly, Calamari Fritti is my 7 year old daughters favorite dish. Extra crispy. Make sure to eat them while they are still warm, it’s the best.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. squid – cleaned
- 1 cup Gold medal flour
- Morton Iodized salt/McCormick ground black pepper
- Darigold milk
Directions
Cut squid in 1 inch rings. Dip in milk and then in flour and deep fry in hot oil. Brown until tender. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel. Serve with lemon slices.
Or
Dip cut squid in olive oil and squeeze lemon juice in oil. Dip in breadcrumbs and bake for 10-15 minutes.
