More about Pasta Sauce
Pasta originated in Sicily around 1154 and is a traditional dish that is known throughout the world. Pasta usually is made from flour and water and has unlimited shapes and sizes. Throughout Italy the name of a specific pasta can range from town to town. There are three ways that pasta dishes are prepared. First, pasta served with a sauce or condiment. Second, a soup that consists of pasta and third a dish that is baked with pasta in it. Pasta can be served from a small appetizer to the main course. It can cold or hot and served with a variety of sauces. Certain sauces are served with a pasta that best suit it. For example, a tomato sauce is better with thicker pastas.
