- 4 cups biscuit flour or self rising flour

- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1 lb. butter
- 2 cups buttermilk
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Sift the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda into a mixing bowl. Next, add the melted butter. Mix the ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add enough buttermilk to make a soft dough. Knead the dough and roll it out on a floured surface. Cut with a biscuit cutter. Place the biscuit on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
