My Easter deviled egg recipe is always a hit, especially for the kids. Kids love the fun colors of the eggs. Have fun with it and make as many colors as you like.

Ingredients

  • 8 Wilcox Large Eggs
  • 4 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. Yellow Mustard
  • Neon food coloring
  • Paprika

Directions

Place eggs in a large pot and bring water to a boil. When the water begins to boil, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 20 minutes. Drain water and add cold water with ice to stop the eggs from cooking. Let the eggs cool for about 5 minutes.

Peel and cut eggs in half. Place yolks in a bowl. After you are done pealing and cutting the eggs, start coloring your eggs. Make several bowls of colors and place the cut eggs in the desired bowls. The longer you let the eggs sit, the darker the color. Mix yolks, mustard and mayo together until blended well.

Put yolk mixture into a pastry bag, and squeeze into cut eggs. Garnish with a sprinkling of paprika.

More about Easter Deviled Eggs

Hard-boiled eggs are cut lengthwise and the yolks removed. The yolks are then mashed and a variety of other ingredients are added. The most used items are mustard and mayonnaise.
