This spicy honey glazed chicken recipe is delicious! This recipe is gluten and dairy free. It is hard to find yummy food that I can eat these days with EOE and all my food allergies. The entire family loved this chicken. Of course, I served them rice (which I can’t have now) and I added quinoa to mine. Yummy!
Ingredients
- 12 Boneless skinless chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp cracked pepper
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Directions
This is a super easy dinner to make.
Turn your broiler on low. In a medium sized bowl, mix all the ingredients together. We like our chicken thin in this house so I always tenderize the chicken. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and rub the glaze on the chicken tenders. Broil for 7 minutes. Turn the chicken over and apply the rest of the glaze. Broil for 7 more minutes. During the last 2 minutes I turn the broiler on high to brown the chicken. That’s it, you are all done.
More about Spicy Honey Glazed Chicken
Honey is collected from both wild bee colonies and domesticated beehives. A bee smoker is used to trigger a feeding instinct that makes the bees less aggressive. The smoke also obscures the pheromones bees use to communicate. Honey is removed from the honeycomb by either using an extractor or by crushing the honeycomb. Then honey is then filtered to remove debris and beeswax. China accounts for approximately 28% of the total worldwide production of honey.
