It’s the breadcrumbs and butter that make this melt in your mouth Nona’s Italian chicken. I make my breadcrumbs in bulk and keep in the freezer, so that makes this dish super easy to make.
- 6 Chicken breast
- 1 ½ sticks Imperial Margarine
- Lakewood pure Lemon juice
- Seasoned breadcrumbs (see recipe)
Thin skinless chicken breast. Wash well and let drain. Melt 1 stick of margarine, and use juice of 1 lemon in butter. Dip chicken in butter then to seasoned breadcrumbs. Spray cookie sheet and lay chicken on it. Pour any leftover butter on top of breaded chicken. Cut pieces of margarine on chicken and bake at 400 until done.
