  • 1 cup Tillamook shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup Bel Gioioso grated parmesan cheese

Native to the Mediterranean region, the artichoke is a species of the thistle. The artichoke is made up a cluster of flower buds. After the buds bloom the artichoke becomes coarse and barely edible. The cardoon is another variety of the artichoke.
